Born January 20, 1987, Tristan Salley is a native ofHartford, CT. He is a lifelong member of Bethel AME Churchin Bloomfield, CT where he is under the spiritual leadership of Reverend Ron McCune. Tristan has been a member of the ypdfor 10 years and has served as parlimentarian and 1st VicePresident of the New England Annual Conference, and as 2ndVice President for the First District YPD before beingelected as the 1st Vice President.  A 2008 graduate from the University of Hartford in WestHartford, CT, Tristan majored in Sociology.
Tiffany L. Manderville is a member of Freedom Temple AME Church in Willingboro, NJ under the leadership of Rev. M. Lloyd Guyton. At her local church, she serves as a member of the "Vision Team" as well as a member on the finance commission. Tiffany is currently a graduate student at Rutgers University pursuing a degree in Public Policy and Administration graduating in 2010. While being a child of God is not always easy Tiffany knows that if she continues to stay steadfast in the direction that God will have her to go she will never be led astray. Her favorite scripture is John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." She firmly believes that until you truly know the meaning of love, you will never be able to appreciate the sacrifice that God has made for us in the gift of, Jesus, His son.

Hello all, my name is Christina J. Johnson and I am the Financial Secretary for the 1st District.  It is a pleasure to be able to serve the Y.P.D. and give back to an organization that has given me so much.   I am eighteen years old.  I attend Salem College as a freshman.  Salem College is located in Winston-Salem, NC.  I have a double major in Education and Marketing and a minor in Spanish.  I am a part of the Delaware Conference.  I attend church at Bethel A. M.E. in Wilmington, DE, where the Pastor is Rev. Silvester S. Beaman.   My favorite bible verse is Proverbs 4:23 "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life."  My interests include shopping, laughing, ice skating, fashion, and volunteering. My goals for the Y.P.D. as Financial Secretary are to keep accurate records of receipts and disbursements.  Also to work closely with the 1st District Y.P.D. Director to assist with any financial matters as deems necessary.  My goals for the Y.P.D. in general are to bring the conferences closer together, to have more YPDers go to the District Conference and bring more YPDers closer to Christ. 

Hi my name is Mica Murray (Caines) from the Bermuda conference. I currently live in Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada where I attend Mount Saint Vincent University. My major is public relations with a minor in communications. I enjoy interacting with everyone and helping in anyway that I can. My future goal is to become a public speaker dealing with crisis communications.

Hello 1st District YPD, my name is Paige Thomas and i am your Historiographer/Statistician. I am 17 years old and attend Bethel AME in Buffalo, NY where Rev. Richard A. Stenhouse is my pastor. I am currently applying to various colleges and universities where i would plan to major in psychology or nursing.
My name is Ayana Shiovone Odom and I am the 1st District YPD Assistant Recording Secretary.  I am apart of the NJ Conference and I attend Israel Memorial AME Church in Newark, NJ.  In my local church I am the current YPD President.  I also dance with the dance ministry and I sing in the newly formed New Life Choir.  I have also served as the Morristown Area YPD 2nd Vice President.  I am very happy to be apart of the 1st District YPD Executive Board.Coming Soon!

Senior at Long Island University majoring in Secondary Education Social Studies. He is a member of Bethel A.M.E in Babylon NY. Where the Rev. Leonard M. Davis is his pastor. Serves on numerous executive boards throughout his college career including being chapter president of his fraternity Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity Incorporated. He would like to give thanks to his Lord and Savior for allowing him to be so successful and true to himself.

Quinting is a native of Newark, New Jersey and is the son of Helen and the late Quinting Lacewell Sr. A member of St. Luke AME Church in Newark, New Jersey serving on the Public Relations Commission.Quinting is also a member of the Newark District and NJ Conference Lay Organization. In the YPD he has formerly served as the Newark Area YPD 2nd Vice-President, 1st Vice-President, President,  and is currently Chairperson of the Connectional (International Level) YPD Going Green Committee. He is a graduate of Essex County Vocational & Technical School North 13th Campus with certification in Business Technology.
He has been employed at The National Urban League of Essex County,Rutgers University Department of Urban Education, The Newark Municipal Courts, and KPMG Global Accounting Firm. He is a world traveler having traveled extensively throughout the United States and Internationally to Japan, Thailand, Mexico, Grand Cayman Islands, Jamaica, and Bermuda. Quinting is a student at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia Majoring in Political Science and has aspirations to hold public office someday and work administrating in the Newark Public School System.

Originally born in Queens, New York on May 9, 1984, Tia currently serves as the Connectional Assistant Recording Secretary.  She is a member of St. Matthew AME Church in Philadelphia, Pa where the Rev. Roland C. McCall is the pastor.  Tia's church activities consist of the YPD and the New Direction Young Adult Choir.  She has served in the YPD on various levels such as Local President, South Area Vice President, Philadelphia Conference Recording Secretary and finally the Connectional Assistant Recording Secretary.  Tia is a graduate of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Science in Sports, Recreation, and Leisure Management.  She is currently enrolled in Eastern University where she hopes to receive a Masters in Elementary and Special Education.  She aspires to become a teacher and eventually a principal.  Her favorite scripture is one she shares with all of her friends Romans 8:31.  Her vision is to encourage the young adults ages 18-26 to come back to the YPD to serve as role models and leaders to the younger generation.
