The Home Page Of The 1st District YPD

This District, the oldest Episcopal District in African Methodism, is composed of seven Annual Conferences, sixteen Area District and more than three hundred congregations.

The First Episcopal District extends from Delaware to Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, Western New York, New England and to the Island of Bermuda. Bishop Richard Franklin Norris presides over the District and Mrs. Mary Ann Norris serves as Episcopal Supervisor.

We are ever striving to reach the unreached with the proclamation of the Gospel, and to aid all of humankind in gaining a more abundant life.
